Natural Lemon Myrtle Cleaners that Don’t Hurt the Planet
Are you sick of toxic chemical smells in the home that leave you heady, even headachy? Does your skin react to harsh cleaning sprays? You're not alone, and you don't have to put up with it.
The problem with conventional cleaners
Many household cleaners rely on chlorine, ammonia and synthetic fragrances. They do kill germs, but they also linger in the air you breathe, irritate skin and eyes, and wash into waterways with every rinse.
Nature already solved this
Lemon myrtle's secret is citral. At 95 to 98 percent, it is the highest concentration found in any plant. Citral is naturally antibacterial, antiviral and antimicrobial, which is exactly what you want from a cleaner. The bonus: it smells like fresh lemons instead of a swimming pool.
In Queensland's humid subtropics, that natural power is especially handy against mould, one of the jobs our customers rate our cleaner for most.
One bottle, most of the house
- Kitchen: benchtops, sinks, chopping boards and fridge shelves.
- Bathroom: tiles, glass, vanities and mould-prone grout lines.
- Everywhere else: door handles, light switches, bins and floors.
Our Botanical Cleaner comes in 500ml spray, 2.5L and 20L refills to cut plastic waste, and the do-everything Wonder Spray handles the odd jobs in between. Gentle on the earth, brutal on grime.
